Dancing for a Good Cause! 

Just wrapped up a cultural dance session with a wonderful group of women. Many of them are new to Jordan and to Middle Eastern dance. Their contributions will go to supporting the children at Bal'ama Society for Special Education in Mafraq, Jordan.

My new year's resolution was to dance every evening even if it's just for ten minutes! I've been pretty faithful most evenings.. Sometimes I end up dancing for 45 mins and other times I just do 15 mins but in either case I feel so energized and rejuvenated and I love how it speeds up my metabolism so that even after resting I feel like my body is still burning calories. It's such a fun way to connect with your soul and to feel like a kid again! Surely you all remember when we used to dance and sing in front of a mirror when we were kids and we'd hold the hair brush pretending it was a microphone!!) Please tell me I wasn't the only one that did that!!
